His areas of expertise span Tax, Corporate (M&A), AML, and Contract Law, whereby he not only advises but also represents clients in litigation, navigating them through courts and arbitration in corporate and contract law matters. He thus combines transactional activities with a contentious practice. In addition to his practical experience and academic achievements he has written a number of articles on legal topics related to his expertise. He obtained an M.A. in History with a minor in Law from the University of Ghent (2015), an MSc. in Economic History at the London School of Economics (2016), an LL.M. at the Free University of Brussels (VUB) in 2019, and a post-graduate (Manama) degree in taxation at the University of Leuven (KUL) in 2022. Frederik Laevens

Marouane joined specializes in IP, IT and Commercial Law. His main responsibilities involve reviewing and drafting various contracts, including NDAs, licensing agreements, and master service agreements tailored for IT service providers. Additionally, he assists clients in the process of registering Benelux and European trademarks, ensuring sign availability and distinctiveness, while also overseeing trademark deposits.

Marouane obtained his Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Economic and Social Law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles in 2020, after completing a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) at Université Saint-Louis-Bruxelles from 2015 to 2018. He further enhanced his education with a Complementary Degree in Management from Ichec Brussels Management School in 2021.
